Baseline Study on Internet Freedom in Africa

The African Freedom of Expression Exchange (AFEX) has launched its maiden Internet Freedom in Africa Report at the sixth African Internet Governance Forum on December 4, 2017. The Report gives an overview of the Internet landscape in eight selected African countries. The Report also identifies issues such as high cost of data, network disruptions,  use of repressive laws to stifle online expression as the major challenges in the countries under review.
